Club's Description:
'FLuX' Wednesdays at GOTHAM CITI is custom-designed for both the highbrow connoisseur and the lowbrow eccentric. Catering to your musical and naughty desires, 'FLuX' is a fully interactive public dungeon, of bondage and discipline role-play, in a Gothic/Industrial dance club environment. The party begins downstairs at Zombie High, located in a gentlemanly lounge-like setting, complete with chandeliers and the like. Multiple TVs display a variety of video oddities while DJ Rat Boy and various guest DJs spin punk, new wave, and goth. And, of course, there are the $1 Drink Specials. Upstairs, however, is the main event. A huge expanse, with opulent decor, nooks for conversation and a full dance floor, GOTHAM CITI is among the largest nightclubs in New Haven. Overlooking the street below, the main dance floor is the weekly home to one of the resident DJs, who rotate though a three week cycle, and usually feature one guest DJ. Guests spin a variety of industrial, noise, ebm, electroclash, synthpop, goth, deathrock, punk, or other underground electronics. However the temperament of each night is really set by the resident. Though hardly limited each specializes in their own field, but will inevitably supplement what ever the guest may not have covered. Reverend Brian spins EBM, Synth-Pop, Electro and Trance. Death in Jim spins first and second wave goth, darkwave, horrorpunk/deathrock, first and second wave industrial. Ratboy spins first and second wave industrial, punk and goth.
Club's DJs: On a three week rotation: Reverend Brian, Death in Jim, and DJ Ratboy and DJ Manwhore rotating the third week.
